The short answer
Jen Newcombe, a co-founder of The App Chicks, is based in North Phoenix and does her social media work in person.
She says, "I live and work in North Phoenix, and I show up in person." She meets you at your business, learns how it runs and films the content herself. Then her team manages everything after that.
Where she works
Jen's home base is North Phoenix, AZ. Her local service area is:
- North Phoenix
- Cave Creek
- North Scottsdale
- Glendale
Local doesn't mean local only. Jen says that if your brand has locations outside Arizona, she and her team manage those accounts too. She travels for shoots when it makes sense.
Why in person matters
Jen says some things don't translate over a video call. Her examples are the way your front desk greets people, the sound of your shop at 7 a.m. and an owner who lights up when someone asks how it all started.
She says working with someone local means less explaining and more showing. She knows the neighborhoods and the seasons. She also knows how a Phoenix summer changes how people shop and spend weekends.
What local management includes
Jen's North Phoenix service includes:
- In-person shoot days at your North Phoenix location
- Strategy for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Google Business and YouTube
- Content planning, captions and scheduling
- On-camera coaching for you and your staff
- Community engagement and audience development
- In-person check-ins when it helps
When something new is happening, she can come capture it.
Local brands she's worked with
| Brand | What Jen describes |
|---|---|
| Rainbow Ryders | On-site filming and in-house film strategy, plus staff coaching so the team keeps capturing sunrise flights after she leaves |
| The Enclave Salon Suites | On-site filming and TikTok ads for salon suites across the Valley |
| Home service brands | Support for 4TheTruck + LINE-X of Arizona, Carefree Stone, Enmar Hardwood Flooring and Sharp Wood Floors |
For the home service brands she says each needed something different. That ranged from Facebook ads to content built around their craft.
A partner's words
Jessica Friedman, founder of Digital Tribes Media and a fractional CMO, says of Jen: "She's an incredible asset to any brand looking to strengthen its social media presence."
What it costs
Social media management starts at $2,500 per month. It's month-to-month with no contracts. Extras such as in-person filming, photoshoots and advertising management can raise the price.
Other services, like Content Creation and Video Editing, also start at $2,500 per month. Coaching and audits are priced around the work you need.
Who this isn't for
Jen works with brands worldwide too, so you don't have to be in Arizona. If you want a big agency that hands you off to a junior team, that isn't how she works.
She says, "I don't hand clients off." She keeps her roster small and leads every account, backed by her own team.
