The short answer
The Growth Engine finds shippers who are likely to need a broker, contacts them as you, and books the intro call on your calendar.
You approve every message first. You take the call and you win the account.
Why freight brokers fit
Most brokers find shippers by cold calling. It works, but it eats the day, and plenty of brokers who are great on the phone with a shipper they already know still dread dialing a stranger.
One shipper is not one load. It's recurring loads, month after month. A broker earns a margin on each one, so a single new shipper can be worth real money over a year.
The sale also starts with a conversation. A shipper wants to know your lanes, your equipment, how fast you quote when a load changes at the last minute, and who picks up the phone when something goes wrong.
Two kinds of shippers worth finding
We build a separate list and a separate message for each, because they need different things.
| Shipper | What they might need | Why they're worth it |
|---|---|---|
| Already uses a broker | A better rate, steadier coverage, faster answers | They move freight now, so the loads are real |
| In a growth moment | Carriers for a new warehouse, product line, retail account or region | They need capacity soon and may not have it |
An illustrative example, not a real client result. A food distributor opens a second warehouse in a new region. New location, new lanes. That's a strong fit. A business that ships a pallet twice a year isn't.
The messages
Each message is short and specific. It names something true about the shipper and asks one small question.
An illustrative example for a shipper that already uses a broker:
"If a lane ever goes uncovered, I'd like to be your second call. Open to a 15 minute intro?"
You read every message first. If a line doesn't sound like you, we change it.
Replies and booking
Replies get a fast answer. When a shipper asks which lanes you cover or what equipment you run, they hear back the same day instead of the same week. A person watches the conversations that need one.
When a shipper says yes, the intro call lands on your calendar. An illustrative booking: "Thu 10:00 am. Intro call, produce lanes." You walk in knowing what they asked.
What you do
- Approve the messages. A kickoff call, a review, then short check-ins.
- Take the intro calls. The rate and the close stay with you.
- Tell us what you're seeing. We tune from what comes back.
When it isn't a fit
It's probably not right if you only want spot loads from strangers. Those don't start with outreach.
It's also not right if you have no capacity to take on a new shipper. Fix that first.
We don't promise a number of calls. Every month we show you who we found, who replied and who booked.
