Talkbot is an upcoming messenger app with features like message scheduling, adding subject to messages, having private group chats, and retracting sent messages. The creators of Instnt, approached The App Chicks with their revolutionizing idea of an app that would allow carefree sharing of text and multimedia messages, conversation forwarding option, Dropbox integration and a lot more.

It was necessary to bring in functionalities like rich text formatting with hundreds of font types, colours, and highlights. Team App Chicks also had to enable private group chat messages to self-destruct 30 seconds after it is received. We also needed to retract sent messages with a single touch. Having a dedicated outbox and enabling the share of any type of attachments was what Talkbot team looking for. Displaying @mentions in group chats, message flagging and p status messages with different notification were some of the challenges proposed to us while developing Talkbot.

Focused on giving Talkbot the flexibility to evolve all its features while maintaining its USP – “One messenger app to rule them all.”, The App Chicks brainstormed groundbreaking and smart UI/UX design. The user is able to see who’s online and who’s not, send attachments in chats, and edit messages with tons of fonts, colours and highlights to choose from alongside the standard bold, italic and underline features. All this was made possible by customizing certain plugins and implementing a sophisticated text editor.
